Flow at Townsville Civic Theatre

For the next 12 months Flow is now cascading in the new atrium (eastern end) of Townsville’s Civic Theatre on Queens Road.  It was difficult to hang, but thanks to
the sheer persistence of Perc Tucker’s great gallery team we finally got there.

Flow III

Flow III is currently part of an exhibition at Pinnacles Gallery in Townsville (from 20 July to 26 August 2006).  Flow is draped on top of 3 giant walls and rises about 3.5 metres up, resembling 3 giant coral bommies and when you walk underneath you can see what it is to be like a creature in the ocean with your ceiling view covered with plastic lids.

Flow II is now finally up as part of Strand Ephemera VI and much bigger.
It is now 12 x 7 metres wide incorporating approximately 30,000 up-cycled plastic bottle tops.
